Volunteer to Coach
Greetings!
My name is Joshua Overland, and I am the President for the High River Storm.
High River Minor Baseball is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season, and we need your help to make it a success! We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team as coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, or storekeepers. Whether you’re passionate about the game, enjoy mentoring young athletes, or want to contribute behind the scenes, there’s a role for everyone. Volunteering is a rewarding way to support our players, build a strong community, and ensure the season runs smoothly. Join us in making this season unforgettable—your time and effort can make a big difference! No experience necessary!
All coaches will be required to obtain a new (within 1-2 months) Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC). The letter of request necessary to receive your VSC is available for download here: Vulnerable Sector Check 2025
Our entire organization is volunteer-run, and we understand it can be intimidating to take on a leadership position without prior experience. We assure you that we all felt the same way when we began our baseball journey. The primary qualification for coaching with the High River Storm is a desire to provide our young athletes with a positive experience in sport.
