We can’t wait to welcome back our returning athletes and meet lots of new faces ready to join the HRMB family. Whether you’re brand new to the game or a seasoned player, there’s a place for you here.
This season, we’re thrilled to offer pre-season clinics for all ages and skill levels to help everyone shake off the winter and get game-ready. Our goal is simple: support every player, build confidence, grow skills, and most importantly, have fun!

For the first time ever, High River Minor Baseball is exploring the opportunity to offer a U22 team right here in High River!
We know many of our 18U players graduate and age out but still have the passion, skill, and drive to keep playing competitive baseball — and we want to create a place for you to stay in the game.
The U22 team would compete in the Calgary North Baseball League, just like our 18U Team, giving players the chance to continue developing, competing, and representing High River.
This program will depend on player interest, so we want to hear from YOU!

High River Minor Baseball is excited to announce that registration is officially open for the 2026 season!
We appreciate your patience with the slight delay—we wanted to ensure everything was fully in place before welcoming our new and returning athletes. Our goal is to make the 2026 season the best one yet!
High River Minor Baseball proudly offers programs for all ages and skill levels, from 3 to 18 years old. Whether your player is just picking up a glove for the first time or continuing to develop their skills, we are committed to providing supportive, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable coaches who focus on growth, confidence, and love for the game.
Calling All Coaches & Volunteers!
Along with player registration, coaching registration is also open. Volunteering as a coach is a rewarding way to make a real difference in the lives of young athletes and help keep baseball thriving in our community.
To support our volunteers, we will be offering coaching clinics for new and returning coaches, covering practice planning, skill development, season structure, and most importantly how to keep the game fun and engaging for everyone.

Hello everyone! My name is Karen Dees, and I’m the Umpires Coordinator for High River Minor Baseball. I’ve proudly been part of the HRMB board for several years and involved as a parent and team manager for over 13 years. I’m passionate about seeing baseball continue to thrive in High River and surrounding communities.
One of the most important parts of our game is having competent, confident, and qualified umpires, and we’re excited to announce that Umpire Clinics are coming to High River this spring!
📅 Umpire Clinics - March 21 & 22, 2026
📍 Joe Clark School
🔹 Level 1 Clinic
🗓 Saturday, March 21
9:00am-4:00pm (doors open at 8:30am)
🔹 Level 2 Clinic
🗓 Sunday, March 22
9:00am-4:00pm (doors open at 8:30am)
📌 What to Bring:
• Lunch, snacks, and drinks (short lunch break)
• Comfortable clothing & clean gym shoes
• Baseball glove
• Umpire or catcher’s mask (if you have one)
• Note-taking materials
📘 How the Umpire Program Works:
• New umpires must take Level 1 for two years unless they complete 10+ games in their first season
• Level 2 is a 3-year rotating program (Offence, Defence, Game Management)
• Only one clinic level per calendar year
• Level 2 umpires receive priority for higher-level games
• Umpires generally do not officiate their own level or higher
🚨 Level 3, 4, and 5 clinics are offered elsewhere in Alberta, but not in High River this year.

At High River Minor Baseball, we understand that financial barriers shouldn’t prevent kids from playing sports. That’s why we want to remind everyone that programs like KidSport Calgary & Area and Jumpstart are available to provide assistance.
We believe every child should have the opportunity to participate, regardless of experience. Whether you're new to the game or a returning player, our focus is on helping all athletes develop their skills. To support this, we've added an extra practice day for our 9U to 18U divisions, giving players more time to learn and improve.
We’re looking forward to another fantastic season and hope to see you on the field!
